As your Saab gets older, you may want to choose a simpler form of service, rather than a scheduled service, to keep your Saab in good running order. That's why we're offering you our special Annual Platinum Service and our Bi-annual Diamond Service designed for Saabs 4 years and older.
What's more, the service will be carried out by Saab trained technicians, using the latest diagnostics and technical information and fitting Saab Genuine Parts - parts that are rigorously tested, that will fit perfectly first time and carry a two year manufacturer's warranty.
Emission control service plus - £34.95 incl VAT
A perfect compliment to any service or oil change, we add a cleaning flush to the old oil before we drain it. This effectively cleans and deglazes the cylinder bores of the engine allowing us to put the fresh oil into a ‘clean' engine. Once the new oil is in the vehicle we put an additive into the new oil that has been specially formulated to prevent the build up of crankcase acids and contamination especially important to the now ‘long life' oil that goes into Saab. Finally we put in a fuel treatment that cleans all the fuel lines and deglazes the injectors. All these 3 agents combine to reduce oil burning, emissions and restore lost power and increase fuel economy. £34.95 inc when done with either a service or Oil change (all additives are recognised and approved by Saab)
Platinum Service (recommended Annually) £149.00 includes:
- Change engine oil, sump plug washer and oil filter.
- Replace spark plugs*.
- Check condition of engine air filter.
- Check tyre pressures and condition.
- Check external lighting.
- Check engine coolant level and anti-freeze content.
- Check brake fluid level and condition.
- Check power steering oil level.
- Check oil leakage from engine and transmission.
- Check exhaust system for leaks and condition of mountings.
- Check fuel tank and lines.
- Check brake lines and hoses.
- Check condition of brake pads and discs.
- Check parking brake function.
- Check condition of battery and top-up as required.
- Top-up washer fluid with additive mix.
- Check washer and wiper condition/function.
* For cars fitted with precious metal spark plugs (e.g., Saab 9-5 Aero) there may be a surcharge. We will be able to advise if this is applicable. If you do not want to pay this surcharge, then the plugs will be checked and regapped only.
Diamond Service (recommended bi-annually) £199.00 includes:
- All of the services in the Platinum offer
- Air Filter Replaced
- Fuel Filter Replaced
- Check and report on Cabin Filter
- Free exterior bulb replacement (excluding Xenon and LED lights)
